Formally established as “Open Systems Exploration for Ecosystems Leveraging” in 2014, this e-laboratory changed its name to “Human Augmentation of Ecosystems” from 2020, taking the perspective article from Nature Research as the landmark publication of the initial phase in CS-DC.
